Day 1: Arrival
We arrvie at our hotel in time for dinner
Day 2: Show day
An early morning departure after breakfast we make our journey to the show ground and should arrive their by 9am. You are then free to go of at your leisure and explore. We make our journey back to the hotel at 17:00pm
Day 3: Breacon Mountain Railway & The Royal Mint
See incredible sights from the top of a mountain without having to climb! Hop aboard the Brecon Mountain Railway and go sightseeing on a charming old steam train.
See the steam rise above your carriage as you rocket above one of Wales’ most cherished national parks. When you get to the top the train will stop for a short period so you can take in the breathtaking views.
Ever wondered where money comes from? Take the kids to The Royal Mint Experience, one of the UK's most fascinating attractions, and witness the UK’s coins being made. The shiny silver and gold coins you watch being produced during your visit will enter circulation, and may very well end up in your pocket next week.
You’ll start off with a 45-minute guided tour of the factory, which produces the staggering 750 coins a minute. Want to have a go at coin-making? You can strike your own coins for a small fee! Once the tour is over, you are welcome to explore the interactive exhibition featuring 6 fascinating zones. Take the chance to delve into the Royal Mint’s history and lift a 400oz Gold Bar.
